Cat Lai Bridge connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai: Approving the results of the architectural design competition

Ngày 29.1, UBND tỉnh Đồng Nai đã phê duyệt kết quả thi tuyển phương án kiến trúc công trình cầu Cát Lái theo phương thức đối tác công tư.

Giải nhất là phương án dự thi mã số SD01 của Tổng Công ty Tư vấn thiết kế giao thông vận tải - CTCP (TEDI) có số điểm 89.73 điểm; Giải nhì là phương án dự thi mã số DV18 của Công ty Cổ phần Tư vấn thiết kế giao thông vận tải phía Nam (TEDI SOUTH) có số điểm 75.00 điểm; Giải ba là phương án dự thi mã số MN35 của Công ty Cổ phần tư vấn thiết kế Cầu lớn - Hầm (BRITEC) có số điểm 72.09 điểm.

Previously, on January 15, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for Cat Lai bridge (Dai Phuoc commune, Dong Nai province) across the Dong Nai River connecting Ho Chi Minh City.

The Cat Lai bridge construction investment project has a total investment of about 18, 299 billion VND. The project has a total length of more than 11.6 km (Cat Lai bridge is about 3km long), with a scale of 6 lanes for motorized vehicles and 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles. The project has its starting point in Cat Lai ward, Ho Chi Minh City and the ending point of the project intersecting with the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway (Dai Phuoc commune, Dong Nai province).

The winning investor is a joint venture led by Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC, a joint venture with CC1 Asset Management and Service Co., Ltd., and CC1 Investment Joint Stock Company.

Construction time from 2026 - 2029.

Cat Lai bridge is a strategic traffic project across the Dong Nai River - the "backbone" connecting the inter-regional development space of the Southeast region, located in the overall connection between Long Thanh airport and Ho Chi Minh City, route T1 - National Highway 51 - Provincial Road 25C.
